Take a deep dive into the world of sock knitting with our resident sock expert, Marita.

Over three classes, Marita will guide you through cuffs, heels and toes, sharing the skills you need to craft your first pair of socks, all in the comfort of our relaxed and light filled studio.

With our skills based approach to teaching, this workshop series will see you master small circumference knitting, short rows, picking up stitches and grafting.

The workshop will include a copy of Mix & Match Socks, knitting needles and complimentary afternoon tea at each session.

We invite all enthusiastic beginners and intermediate knitters to join!

CLASS INCLUSIONS

  • 3 x 1.5 hour teacher guided sessions

  • A copy of Mix & Match Socks

  • 2.25mm double-pointed knitting needles

  • Complimentary tea/coffee and a biscuit from our cafe

  • An invitation to join us at the communal table after each class to sit’n’knit

WHAT TO BRING

  • 100g of your favourite 4 ply/Sock weight yarn, approx. 400m/100g, Wool/nylon blend

    Notes: Skeins should be wound into a ball prior to the class. Stash yarn (wool, with at least 20% nylon) is fine or yarn can purchased in store or online, on or before the day. If you would like some yarn recommendations please get in touch.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Maximum of 7 students per class.

  • This class will require homework knitting.

  • Please check that you can attend all dates listed. No refunds will be offered for missed classes.

  • Cancellations will only be accepted 48 hours prior to the commencement of the class series.

  • The class is scheduled to be held on the first floor at 16 Station St Frankston, access is via stairs. We are always happy to accomodate your accessibility needs so please let us know upon booking and we can provide an alternate location.
