Australian Superfine Merino 8 Ply | Cameo
Cleckheaton
Australia’s premium quality hand knitting brand, Cleckheaton, leads the industry with its flagship line of Australian Superfine Merino.
The wool is sourced from a select group of Australian superfine Merino wool growers, and after processing is dyed and milled all right here in Australia.
A unique S-on-S ply construction preserves the softness of the super-fine Merino fibres and produces a delightfully round yarn perfect for defined stitches and cable details.
We would confidently argue that no other yarn in Australia compares to Cleckheaton’s ultra-fine hand-feel, bouncy texture, and extraordinary quality.
Reserve this yarn for luxe designer pieces and heirloom worthy gifts, or just for whenever inspiration strikes.

FINISHING
To block or wash your piece, prepare a bath of tepid water and if desired add a few drops of mild detergent or wool wash. Immerse the finished piece and soak for up to 10 minutes. Carefully lift the piece from the water and allow to drain. Gently remove excess water by pressing the fabric between layers of a dry towel. Lay flat to dry.
